Moving On

15 May 2006, a day when everything changes from black to grey and possibly to blinding white. My boss told me that I’ll be transferred to another department within my current division with the same everything (salary & job level) except for job scope.

I will no longer be doing HR stuff but more towards my workplace building and security systems. Till now I only have a rough idea what is the job is all about by looking through the job description that was made in 2002 (gaaawd!). I’m going to meet my future boss somewhere next week to know more about the job.

Told my parents about it and the response was kinda weird with dad being supportive and mom with her daze and worry looks. As usual dad will tell the benefits of job rotation and how well it can make your experience and resume look good. I know what my mom is thinking but rest assured she too knows how I feel. The next early morning, on a sofa closing my eyes with the fan blowing behind me, waiting for the oat drink to cool down, my mom just finished her ‘subuh’ prayers sat next to me and said “Don’t worry just be positive and open minded”. I was so sleepy and my answer was “ergh..ok..”. Hahaha…I am so cold indeed…

With a new working environment and uncertain future, I told myself to change in many ways such being a bit lively (too silent), an aggressive organiser (too lazy), go for workout often (lazy level 2) and much much more towards a positive attitude.

So friends and relatives, changes will happen and hopefully is the good for all human and ghost kind.
