Gudang Garam Surya (Red)

Somewhere last week I brought myself a pack of Gudang Garam Surya (GGS) and decided not to open it when the right time comes. I just love the strong smell that surrounds the pack…mmmm…smells like chewing gum.

GGS is a favourite of mine when I was 15 years old. You might say I’m not the regular type but more towards a social smoker but not too often actually. Those days at the sundry shop, they sell cigarettes in small rounded tins where you can buy a stick per day. Of course smoking at that age is considered unhealthy and so call not right at all but heck I was sort of enjoying being cool for a brief moment. I still remember how often my friends and I exchange cigarette sticks of a different brand and flavour.

On the same week that Friday, I and my gaming friends went out for our usual gaming session in DJ’s Cybercafé. The place was full so while waiting for empty seats, I offered my friends some GGS’s cigarettes. One of them gave an opinion that a stick of GGS is twice as strong as a normal cigarette. All this while I thought GGS packs comes in black (wuhuuuu heavy to the max!!!) and red (milder) till Zaime told me there is a menthol version which I have never seen before.

Sunday was the official day where Muslims starts their fasting month (in Malaysia) and the terawih prayers begins on Saturday night. The next night, only me and Man went for terawih prayers and brought along my GGS. Man being a person he is, proceed with the prayers till solat witir ends. I on the other hand stopped at the eight rakaat of the terawih prayers and went out to fag a stick of GGS.

Monday morning I was well and it seems everything was running smoothly on the first day of the weekday plus the fasting season. Suddenly a strong headache struck me during lunch hour and I was wondering the cause behind it. I remembered Zaime said he got a strong headache after our gaming session maybe due to the GGS strength. Could it be my brain cells are dying…..geeeez

Reminded myself not to buy GGS in three months or more…….hahahaha….save my brain and money.

Girls with Glasses

Could it be that I like intelligent looking girls? Since primary school till now I always ended up liking someone who wears glasses or used to wear them. To some they may look geeky but for me it actually looks adorable.

Nowadays majority prefer to wear contact lenses thanks to the subconscious mind and marketing strategy. Nevertheless in a positive way, it does lessen burden of having the frame on the nose or face throughout the whole day.

I thought this taste of mine ended in college but it continues on and on without fail….

Is it a fixation? I like girls with eye problems? It is because my whole family wears glasses and I don’t? ……….weird or just plain dumb like Moose…’duh’…hahahaha
