The Directors

Open my outlook yesterday morning at work, 'this person' send an email a day before yesterday at 6.15 pm stating "We are please to inform you that you have been nominated to attend ............ which will be held tomorrow at.........". Then I told myself "Tomorrow? Which is todaylar!". Gawd! why must it be last minute plus the event is at 8.15 pm of course which is after work.

Ah yes, the culture of force nomination is considered a norm, to agree, 'higher peeps' will be pleased, to decline 'hassle' may proceed.

So as usual I am unable to decline and of I go to this prestigious event held meant for someone who has ended his service to the nation but actually to the finance industry. Did i mention the place is quite far that you had to take the Sungai Besi toll and .........

Anyway I went with four of my colleagues and we kept talking crap, curse people and laugh like mad till we reach our destination. Initially we plan to leave the place earlier by sneaking out at the back. However lady luck was not on our side as our table was right at the front near to VIP and VVIP tables.

Looking around us, it seems the crowd is mostly consists of 'otais' which could probably be from management level and above. My group were consists of executive and support level. Certainly you will feel awkward with that kind of crowd so one of my friends suggested that we claim ourselves at a management level. We kept calling each other 'Dato', 'Tuan' and 'Tuan Sri' and even have ourselves different position titles. Base on our actual job scope at work, mine was Director of Scholarship since Events was taken by someone. We had Logistics, Finance, Payroll , IT, Maintenance and Media.

Surprisingly us being 'machais' finished our meal earlier than the rest maybe because higher ranking people eat slowly?

There's a lot of things to tell which is so funny but it might be sensitive to some...nevertheless it was good that I can't stop laughing!!!!

Can't be continued.....Hahhaha!

Basket Case

Don't know why but everytime I want to listen to a music that somehow makes me feel good I'll visit Davina's profile in friendster and listen to one her friend's flash testimonial.Originally the song was sang by GreenDay from their Dookie Album (unless I'm hearing a different lyrics) and the tunes are there. Just that it is altered to suit the Chirstmas season....funny and yet is a good one.

Once a hardcore fan of GreenDay (The Alternative Music Days - !Nirvana!Smashing Pumpkins! and blablabla), actually remembered their lyricd but not now of course. GreenDay still plays good music with American Idiot album. Respect!

Anyway here is the original music if you wanna know the original song sounds like, just check out my profile (if it is still there of course).

Déjà Vu Tu

Last week Friday, me and a bunch of guys were celebrating Mira’s birthday dinner at Green Lotus Café which is located in Bukit Bintang. On our way to the place, asked Mira why she has chosen the place and she told me of the good food and cosy environment. Jon on the other hand kept telling me funny things about the place just to scare me a little.

Three of us was the first to arrive then later on came Naufal, Amri & Azman who were Mira’s best friends during her school and college years plus even till now they are still close friends to the max. We seated in a special room with cushions everywhere, dim orange/yellow lights, artificial exotic plants, unknown paintings on the wall and a dining table meant for cross leg position sitting also known as ‘bersila’. The lighting was soooo romantic that Azman mistaken me as Amri when he came to greet us.

The dishes were excellent and we felt like eating some desserts before we greet each other farewell. Thinking of what to order for desserts, Naufal suggest that we get ourselves some ice cream at the nearby Haagen Danz . Azman couldn’t follow us as he has to attend other urgent matters.

Here’s the Déjà vu part. We sat outside Haagen Danz and our table was between the shop and DOME. Jon wanted to order the fondue so that we could share but Mira insist not to because of hygienic reasons…hahaha. Anyway the weird part is that I somehow had this dream/experience that these things happen before. All of us seating around a round table, four guys and a girl, someone orders a fondue but someone declines and the typical environment on Bintang Walk at night time when is two days away from a holiday.

Pelik siut!!!!

On our way back to PJ, Jon invited me to go to Waikiki something (hope the spelling is right) for some good time and I declined. I was not in the mood and felt it was inappropriate for me to be around the lovey dovey couple which later on I myself ended up as a ‘tiang’. Jon insists that I follow and he will introduce me to some girls there as to ensure that I won’t be alone or ‘tiang’ for that matter. I giggled as for certain Jon does not know my type of girl as Mira does since most of her Malay friends from SMDJ have that certain taste. Hehehe….

Reached home and mom gave a surprise look…..just because I’m not used to coming back home before 12.00 midnight after a night outing.^_^

On other things, I think Audrey Kitching is hot and dont' ask why..huhuhu!

Valentine

Today is valentine day and I consider it like any other normal days, being single and take every aspect of life in a positive manner. If I was with someone, every day is valentine's day but today money hungry vultures will rise up to a stage of greatness and suck out dry innocent's wealth..=P.

Ah yes...since i am in the mood, let me tell you what I remember about the last girl I had a crush on. A person who is not a dreamer but sticks to facts and reality plus independant. Drinks teh 'o' ais limau kosong at mamak's and does not want any santan in her food. The only negative thing that I can think of is her 'Last Minute' attitude...aijorrr. And never ever 'cakap tak serupa bikin' with this girl.

If people were to ask why I liked her, is because the way she talks, her sexy eyes and that certain attitude which is unexplainable. An opposite of me that shares certain interest...sigh...but it was an old story =).

Let's Hop!

Last week, a friend of mine invited me and rest of the gang for ‘bar/club hopping’ at The Curve but most of us was either outstation or busy with working matters. I had to go to JB for a 'kenduri' plus my parents had just return back from their Hajj and my grandparents wants to meet them that much ^_^.

Knowing that last week's 'hopping' did not happen and with 'vigilance' she invited me and the rest again for the same thing at the same location. Sadly her timing wasn't that right as I had a really...really...really got other important things to do at that time. Thinking back again if I go, my drinks would only be either Coke or just plain cold/mineral water. The price....mahal siut! Nevertheless the benefits are quite rewarding such as the excellent ambience and 'cuci mata'...hahaha.

My friends know that I don't drink nevertheless they can accept me for who I am...ah yess....good pals.
